About Douglas
Douglas has over 40 years of experience providing timely, responsive advice to commercial, institutional and individual clients on commercial, contractual, procurement and business matters, drawing on his mediation training to work as an effective, results-oriented lawyer. He was instrumental in negotiating agreements to secure over 80 million dollars in financing for an institutional client, and has advised on large multi-million dollar procurements, SaaS contracts, ESCO contracts, construction contracts and P3 projects. Doug is active in Ottawa's acting and music communities, providing voice-over work for commercials and acting in film and television. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the County of Carleton Law Association, the Ottawa Board of Trade, and ACTRA.
