About Doug

Doug Hopkins practices corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on public procurement, ethics and conflict of interest matters, advising entrepreneurs, business owners and government agencies. His corporate practice covers incorporation and structuring, reorganizations, governance, and shareholder agreements, and his commercial practice centres on mergers and acquisitions and financing arrangements. Since 2003 he has advised or served as project conflict of interest adjudicator on major infrastructure and procurement projects including the Pattullo Bridge Replacement, the Evergreen Line Rapid Transit Project, and BC Hydro's Site C project. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in Canada since 2013 for Corporate Law, Corporate Governance Practice and Mergers and Acquisitions Law. He practises through a personal law corporation.
