Alixe Cormick is the principal of Venture Law Corporation, a boutique corporate securities law firm in Vancouver that she started in 1996. She is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Her practice covers corporate finance and securities law for companies of all sizes, including corporate formations, private and public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings. She has personally assisted more than 150 companies with stock exchange listings across North America and has worked on the sale of over 100 private issuers, primarily in the technology and biotech sectors. Alixe speaks at conferences across Asia and North America on crowdfunding, capital raising, and going public, and serves as a director of the Private Capital Market Association of Canada and on the legal advisory board of the National Crowdfunding and Fintech Association of Canada.
