Deron Waldock is a partner in Gowling WLG's national Pensions Group with over 25 years' experience helping employers navigate complex pensions, benefits, and executive compensation. He advises on plan design, administration, compliance, and treatment in corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and insolvencies, addressing issues such as surplus entitlements and plan governance. Recognized by Chambers Global, Lexpert, and The Legal 500, he serves on the C.D. Howe Institute's Pension Policy Council and has held leadership roles in the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute and Ontario Bar Association.
