Deborah Glendinning is a partner in Osler's Disputes department, where her national practice centres on defending large, multi-jurisdictional class actions and other aggregate claims, particularly in banking, corporate and commercial disputes, product liability and negligence matters. She has acted as national coordinating counsel for a large consumer-products company, overseeing complex litigation across multiple jurisdictions. Over more than two decades, Deborah has worked on cases that produced significant rulings on procedural and evidentiary issues in class certification, coordinated cross-border litigation, and advised corporations on strategies to limit exposure to class action risk. She frequently speaks and writes on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional class actions and risk management, and co-chairs the American Bar Association's international subcommittee on class actions. In 2014, 2015 and 2016, Deborah was named to Benchmark Canada's inaugural list of the Top 25 Women in Canadian Litigation.
