About Dayna

Dayna Steinfeld started her legal career with RavenLaw in Ottawa before returning to Winnipeg to practice administrative, regulatory, labour and employment law on behalf of unions and employees. She represents workers in terminations, human rights and duty-to-accommodate matters, severance reviews, professional discipline, and workplace investigations, and has appeared before labour and arbitration boards, tribunals, and all levels of court. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013 and the Manitoba Bar in 2016, holding a J.D. (2012) and BA Honours (2009), both from the University of Manitoba. She has been recognized as a Lexpert Rising Star and a CBC Manitoba 40 Under 40, and won the 2019 Manitoba Bar Association Pro Bono Award for representing a coalition on constitutional privacy issues before the Supreme Court of Canada; she also clerked for Justice Marshall Rothstein at the Supreme Court of Canada.
