About David
Williams works to secure practical outcomes at each stage of a dispute, starting from a client's goals and building strategies suited to the case. His practice includes significant class actions, commercial disputes and matters involving government bodies, drawing on skills in persuasive writing and court procedure across areas such as securities, shareholder rights, contracts, tax, competition, crown liability, land use, expropriation and judicial review. He has argued matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and spoken at a conference on administrative law. Before joining private practice, Williams clerked for a federal appellate judge and represented pro bono clients while still a student. He completed his law degree at Queen's in 2019 along with an honours science degree from the same school.
