About Edward

Edward Olkovich is a Toronto-based Estates and Trusts lawyer known as 'Mr. Wills.' He is one of a small number of Ontario lawyers certified as a Specialist in Estates and Trusts, with more than 35 years of experience resolving estate disputes in court and through mediation for executors and beneficiaries. Ed has practised law through his own firm since 1978 and is a regular estate expert on radio and television. He serves as a contributing editor of Carswell's legal text Compensation & Duties for Estate Trustees, Guardians & Attorneys. Ed has also chaired the Law Practice Management and General Practice Sections of the Ontario Bar Association and previously served on the executive of its Trusts and Estates Section. He has written numerous books on wills and estate planning, including Executor Kung Fu and Choosing Executors, and lectures on estate planning at the Schulich School of Business MBA program.
