About David

David W. Gibbons is a litigator who acts for clients in a wide range of business and civil disputes, including corporate and commercial matters, professional negligence, defamation, fiduciary disputes, estate litigation, commercial lease litigation, and securities litigation. He has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia and other provinces, various administrative tribunals, the Supreme Court of Canada, and both domestic and international arbitral proceedings. Before joining his partners at Bojm, Funt & Gibbons LLP, David worked at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP and Lawson Lundell LLP. He is a director of the Justice Education Society, a member of the CBA-BC's Court Services Committee, a co-author of the Provincial Court Small Claims Handbook, and a researcher for the British Columbia Annual Practice. David practises through the David W. Gibbons Law Corporation.
