About David

David Street is Business Counsel with a broad corporate transactional practice that spans the formation and expansion of entrepreneurial businesses, the purchase and sale of companies, commercial lending, and corporate finance and reorganization work involving private companies. His corporate finance and lending practice covers bank financings, venture capital, and private offerings of debt and equity securities, and he has a particular interest in drafting complex commercial agreements. David also assists clients with wills, trusts, and estate administration as part of broader business and personal planning. His academic credentials include a law degree from the University of Toronto and a graduate degree in business law from York University, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 1977. He frequently speaks and writes on business law topics for continuing education programs aimed at lawyers and accountants.
