Technology & StartupsWilliam Muir has more than ten years of litigation experience, with a practice spanning commercial and civil disputes, cross-border litigation involving the recognition of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, shareholder disputes, real estate disputes, insurance matters, and issues facing startups and technology companies. He co-founded a digital dealmaking platform aimed at helping small and medium-sized businesses manage their commercial relationships. William earned his law degree from the University of Toronto in 2015, where he served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Faculty of Law Review and won the Blake, Cassels & Graydon Prize for Canadian Income Taxation. He completed a Master of Economics at the same school before starting law and was called to the Ontario bar in 2016.
