About David

David is the managing partner at O'Dea Earle, where his practice covers personal injury, corporate and commercial law, employment law, real estate, and wills and estates, along with a small business practice covering incorporation, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa, and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2006. He was appointed King's Counsel in 2026. David serves as vice-president of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and has held board roles with the Salvation Army, Booth University and College, and the St. John's Crime Prevention Committee.
