About David

David McCormick is a member of Legacy's tax litigation practice group, advising and representing clients in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency, the BC Ministry of Finance, and the City of Vancouver. He has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada, Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, BC Supreme and Provincial Courts, the Social Security Tribunal, and the Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal. A career trial lawyer, he practised in criminal law and civil litigation before transitioning exclusively to tax disputes. He holds a B.A. from McGill University (2004) and an LL.B. from the University of Windsor (2008), and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 2009.
