About James
James Wu is a criminal defence lawyer practising in Richmond, BC. He received his J.D. from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in May 2018 and was called to the bar in British Columbia in September 2019. Before starting his own practice, he worked under experienced counsel, with whom he keeps a close working relationship to this day, so he could offer clients more personal service. He has handled a range of files, from simple breaches to more serious robberies and assaults, from the opening of a file through to the conclusion of a trial. He sits on the board of directors for the Association of Legal Aid Lawyers.
