About David
David Taub represents commercial lenders, banks, insurers, real estate developers and builders, manufacturers, and major landlords in complex business litigation matters, and also acts as class counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants. His work spans commercial real estate, condo disputes, shareholder and contract disagreements, banking and receivership matters, mortgage enforcement, commercial leases, construction issues, and negligence claims against lawyers. He has appeared for clients before every level of Ontario's courts, including the Commercial List and the Court of Appeal, and regularly handles arbitrations and mediations as well. More recently his estate litigation work draws on decades of business litigation experience to pursue and defend will challenges and related claims. He joined the firm in 1993, became a partner in 2000, and holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall and an LL.M. from Duke University; he was admitted to the California bar in 1992.
