About Daryn
Daryn is an experienced litigator who acts for management in labour relations and employment matters, with particular skill in interpreting collective agreements and applying the Ontario Labour Relations Act and Employment Standards Act. Much of his work involves the broader public sector, including municipalities, hospitals, and children's aid societies, and clients regularly turn to him for strategic day-to-day advice as well as advocacy. He has written and spoken widely on topics such as workplace harassment, human rights, performance management, and workplace safety, and served as Consulting Editor for a widely used employment law textbook. From 1993 to 1999 he was an Associate Editor of the Canadian Labour Relations Board Reports. Daryn studied at McGill before earning his LLB from Osgoode Hall in 1992 and being called to the bar in 1994.
