About Darrel

Darrel McEachern practises real estate conveyancing and development, including covenants, subdivisions, and zoning matters, along with wills and estates work such as drafting wills and representing executors and administrators through probate and estate administration. He also advises on corporate and commercial law, including business purchases and sales, incorporations, and shareholder and partnership agreements. He earned an engineering degree from the University of British Columbia in 1971 and a law degree from UBC in 1981, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1982 after articling with a Vancouver firm. He practised as an associate in Vancouver before starting his own firm in Maple Ridge in 1983, the same office MHWP Law operates from today. Darrel has served as past president of the Maple Ridge Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Maple Ridge Community Foundation.
