About Ranjit

Ranjit Singh Khangura is the principal of Khangura Law Corporation and a registered Canadian patent agent. He worked as a lawyer and patent agent for several national law firms before establishing his own practice in Surrey, British Columbia, and now focuses on wills, estate planning, probate, business incorporation, trademarks, patents and notary services. His patent practice includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications, filing PCT and US provisional applications, and conducting freedom-to-operate searches and opinions on infringement and validity. Khangura holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia and a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto, and taught at a college for several years before attending law school at the University of Toronto, where he obtained his J.D.
