About Danielle
Danielle's practice focuses on corporate and business law, particularly corporate finance, securities and corporate governance. She advises public companies, universities and colleges, and businesses of all sizes on private placements, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and investor relations, and continuous disclosure obligations, along with startup and investor venture capital financings. Her work also extends to public procurement, including contract and tender documents and project financing negotiation, with particular experience in the biotech and renewable energy industries. Danielle is a member of the Lex Mundi cross-border transactions practice group, the Canadian Bar Association and the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society. She holds an LL.B. from Dalhousie University and a B.Comm. from Saint Mary's University, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2014. Outside the office, she coaches speed skating with Special Olympics Nova Scotia and serves as Vice-President on the Board of Directors of Speed Skating Canada.
