About Christopher

Christopher J. Kent is a founding partner of Cassidy Levy Kent (Canada) LLP and one of Canada's leading international trade lawyers. He specializes in trade litigation, regulation, and policy across industries including forestry, energy, steel, and mining, with a practice encompassing antidumping and countervailing duties, export controls, sanctions, customs law, and government procurement disputes. He has appeared before binational panels, Canada's Federal Court, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, and the U.S. International Trade Commission. He holds an LL.B. and B.C.L. from McGill University, where he received the Wainwright Scholarship and the I. Ballon Medal, and a B.Comm. from Queen's University, where he received the Ross W. Nicol Graduation Award in Finance.
