About Pamela
Pamela Barron is senior counsel at P. Barron Family Law and a Law Society of Ontario Certified Specialist in Family Law. Originally from Newfoundland, she moved to Ottawa in 1996 and was called to the Ontario bar in February 2002 after articling with Tierney Stauffer. She has practiced family law since then, exclusively since 2005, and has sat on the panel for the Office of the Children's Lawyer, representing children, since April 2006. She's also a member of the panel practicing Collaborative Family Law in Ottawa. Before law, she worked as a behaviour management specialist for the Department of Health in Newfoundland and Labrador starting in 1994. She earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Behaviour Management with Problem Children from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1994, and an LLB from the University of Ottawa in 2000.
