Employment & Labour LawChristopher Hope is an experienced civil litigator who has represented clients on insurance, employment, estates, administrative, and criminal law issues since 1999, appearing at all levels of court in British Columbia. He is the firm's in-house authority on assessing costs in motor vehicle accident litigation, having written the costs chapter for the annually updated British Columbia Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Practice Manual and authored a book on the topic, now in its 6th edition, published by the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC. Hope has served as a director of a long-term care home and a community sporting association, was a member of the Property Assessment Appeal Board for 12 years, and previously acted as an arbitrator for TransLink fare infraction appeals and served on the Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal. He holds a J.D. (1998) and a B.A. (1995), both from the University of Victoria, and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1999.
