About Michael
Michael Long joined Northpoint Legal as a family law associate in 2025, after practising both independently and as an associate at other Vancouver-area firms. He works to fully explore the strengths and weaknesses of each side's case, anticipate potential outcomes, and help clients navigate toward the best result for their circumstances, and has conducted trials at the Supreme Court and Provincial Court and appeared before the BC Court of Appeal. Long holds an MBA from Georgetown University (2021), a J.D. from the University of Alberta (2014), and a BBA and BA from the University of Winnipeg (2011), and was called to the bar in Alberta in 2015 and in British Columbia in 2016.
