About Christian

Christian works with First Nations and First Nation-owned businesses at OKT, focusing his practice on corporate deals and land management issues. He has worked on partnership and financing deals in the renewable energy and electricity sectors, as well as acquisition transactions across a range of natural resource industries. He regularly handles leasing matters, real estate purchases, additions to reserve, plus parks and protected areas issues. Christian took part in Osgoode's intensive program focused on Indigenous lands, resources, and governance issues, completing a placement with the Stó:lō Research and Resource Management Centre, located in Chilliwack, British Columbia, where he researched water use and sustainability policy. Before joining OKT, he articled at a national firm in Toronto, working on corporate and real estate files. He is called to the bar in both Ontario and the Northwest Territories.
