About Chris

Chris Wendell has been with Porter Ramsay for nearly two decades, advising individuals, businesses and developers on corporate and commercial matters, real estate and mortgages, property development, wills and estates, and agricultural law. That work regularly includes acquisitions and financings, land-use questions, and succession planning. He earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia in 2006, after graduating with distinction from UBC Okanagan in 2003 with a major in political science and a minor in economics. He joined Porter Ramsay as an articled student in 2006, became an associate in 2007, and has been a partner since January 2011. He is a member of the British Columbia Grape Growers Association and the British Columbia Wine Authority, and previously served on the BC Farm Industry Review Board.
