Charles Roy is a litigator who joined Taylor McCaffrey LLP as a summer student in 2013 and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2015 after earning his J.D. from the University of Manitoba in 2014. He practices in labour and employment, personal injury and medical malpractice, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy and insolvency. Charles focuses in particular on shareholder disputes and is part of the firm's Financial Services group, which handles insolvency and debtor-creditor matters such as restructuring, receiverships and priority disputes. He has appeared before the Court of Queen's Bench, the Court of Appeal, Bankruptcy Court, the Manitoba Labour Board, and labour and commercial arbitrations. Charles is a member of the Canadian Association for Counsel for Employers and sits on its Privacy Committee Executive, and he serves as a board member of The Exchange District Biz.
