About Chad

Chad J. Brown has practised law since 2001, working at a large regional law firm for eight years before joining a boutique tax law firm from 2008 to 2015. He has since focused on representing Canadian taxpayers in tax litigation and dispute resolution, including audits, objections, civil tax appeals, and criminal tax offences, and has appeared before Provincial Courts, the Alberta Court of King's Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Tax Court of Canada. He is licensed in Alberta and Ontario, has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' In-Depth Tax Course, and has lectured for the Canadian Tax Foundation on criminal tax evasion and tax disputes.
