About Boris
Boris Stanislav has practised law since 2016, specializing in tax controversy, dispute resolution, and litigation across Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta, at both boutique and large Toronto firms. He holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance and a Professional Master of Laws (Taxation) from Osgoode Hall Law School. He has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada on matters including SR&ED claims, capital dividend account disputes, tax residency, director's liability, and section 160 assessments, and has also appeared before the Federal Court, the Superior Court of Ontario, and defended tax evasion charges at the Ontario Court of Justice. Now based on Vancouver Island, he advises taxpayers across Alberta and British Columbia, and has taught tax-related subjects to accounting students at George Brown College in Toronto and Curtin Law School in Perth, Australia.
