Immigration LawCemone is a Senior Associate focusing on immigration litigation, with particular attention to refugee protection, family sponsorships, and removal proceedings. Fluent in French, she regularly appears before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and the Federal Court. She studied psychology at York University's Glendon College, including a term abroad in Bordeaux, before completing her law degree through the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa in 2015. During her articles with Legal Aid Ontario, she gained experience in family, landlord and tenant, criminal, and refugee matters, which laid the groundwork for her immigration practice. She has since built expertise preparing Humanitarian and Compassionate applications, Pre-Removal Risk Assessments, and other detailed written submissions, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2016.
