About Joel
Joel Sandaluk is a partner at Mamann Sandaluk LLP and has practiced exclusively in Canadian immigration and refugee law since his call to the Ontario bar in 2000. He leads the firm's Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group, appearing before the Federal Court of Canada, Ontario courts, and all divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board. His work spans refugee protection claims, detention reviews, sponsorship and deportation appeals, inadmissibility matters involving medical, criminal, or security concerns, and humanitarian and compassionate applications. Joel frequently advises clients facing removal from Canada and enforcement action by the Canada Border Services Agency. He also mentors associates at the firm and is a regular media commentator and CPD speaker on immigration policy. He earned a BA from the University of Alberta in 1995 and an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1998.
