About Caroline

Caroline McAvity is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Saint John office, practicing corporate and commercial law for individuals, business owners, and financial institutions. She advises on commercial financings, mergers, private equity investments, corporate reorganizations, commercial real estate, and succession and estate planning. Caroline earned her law degree at the University of New Brunswick and was called to the New Brunswick bar in 2016, after attending the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, where she competed as an NCAA gymnast. She is a founding member of GenNext, a group of young philanthropists supported by United Way Maritimes.
