About Carlye
Carlye Bellavia practices primarily in corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions and corporate and commercial law, working across industries such as technology, cannabis, investment funds and mining. She previously served as a supervising lawyer with the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic, providing legal services to early-stage ventures on financing and equity structuring matters, and she now sits on the firm's M&A Practice Group, Student Committee and Technology Committee. Carlye joined the firm as a summer student in 2015 and articled there in 2016 and 2017. She completed her JD at Western University's Faculty of Law, where she received the David L. Johnston Prize in Securities Regulation, and holds an Honours Business Administration degree from Western's Richard Ivey School of Business. Before law school, she worked as a consultant with IBM in its Global Business Services division. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2017.
