About Caolan
Caolan Lemke's work encompasses corporate and commercial matters, governance, natural resources, and land interests, with practice areas including corporate and commercial law, impact benefit agreements, land interests, natural resources, and secured transactions. Before joining Woodward & Company in 2023, he served various Indigenous governments, businesses, and organizations, with expertise in business structuring, drafting governance legislation, and commercial arrangements, and has advised on section 35 rights, consultation processes, environmental assessments, and treaty implications. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary (2011) and a JD, with distinction, from the University of Saskatchewan (2015). He is a member of the Law Society of Saskatchewan (2016), the Law Society of British Columbia (2018), and the Law Society of the Northwest Territories (2024), and has belonged to the Canadian Bar Association since 2013. He is passionate about advancing reconciliation with Indigenous peoples and enjoys exploring nature, visiting farmers' markets, and cooking.
