About Brian

Brian Yung joined Zarek Taylor Grossman Hanrahan LLP in 2009 and became a partner in 2015, where he now co-chairs the firm's Special Investigations practice group. He graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto in human biology before completing his law degree at the University of Western Ontario and being called to the bar in 2006. His practice centres on automobile insurance defence litigation, covering tort claims, accident benefits, priority disputes between insurers, and coverage opinions, along with some medical malpractice and pharmaceutical class action work. Brian has conducted jury trials to verdict and appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, and the Licence Appeal Tribunal. He also defends insurers on commercial general liability claims.
