About Brian

Brian Sexton has over 32 years of experience advising private corporations and high net-worth individuals on structuring, taxation, succession, governance and wealth preservation. He was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1993 after earning his LL.B. and B.Sc. from the University of Manitoba, and completed the CICA's In-Depth Tax Course. Brian's practice focuses on tax law, including corporate tax planning, succession planning, and dispute resolution with the Canada Revenue Agency, and he has advised First Nations on tax structuring. He is a former Governor and Conferences Committee Co-Chair of the Canadian Tax Foundation and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers™ in Canada for Tax Law and Trusts & Estates since 2010.
