About Brett
Brett Shaigec is a lawyer on the solicitor team at Nixon Wenger LLP, practicing in business transactions, real estate, and wills and estates. During law school he volunteered and later supervised at a legal clinic serving low-income clients, and before pursuing law he worked in the forestry and civil construction industries. Shaigec earned a B.A. in philosophy, politics, and economics from the University of British Columbia Okanagan in 2020 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2023, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2024. He is a board and governance committee member of the Okanagan Science Centre and an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
