About Amanda

Amanda Rekdale practices exclusively in family law at Nixon Wenger LLP, guiding clients through divorce, separation, parenting, support, and property division matters. She has appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia as well as the Alberta Court of Justice and Court of King's Bench, and while an experienced litigator, she generally strives to resolve issues through negotiation. Rekdale earned a B.Crim. from Mount Royal University in 2010 and an LLB from the University of New England in Australia in 2016, receiving NCA accreditation from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2017. She was called to the Alberta Bar in November 2018 and to the British Columbia Bar in July 2021, and her cross-provincial experience lets her advise clients with legal interests in either province.
