About Brent

Brent Cooper is a business lawyer who has appeared in court more than 2,000 days, handling business, contract, and shareholder disputes as well as M&A matters. He holds an LLB and BA from the University of Manitoba, was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1988 and the Alberta Bar in 2000, and is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Practice. Brent has litigated across all four western Canadian provinces for clients ranging from large corporations to small businesses, ranchers, and municipal governments. He is the past chair of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and currently chairs its Long-Range Planning Committee, and represents McLeod Law as one of its two delegates to TAGLaw, an international alliance of independent law firms.
