About Wanda
Wanda Dawson is a partner at Kirk Montoute Dawson LLP who has practised family law since 2000. She is an experienced lawyer, mediator, arbitrator and parenting coordinator who generally favours alternative dispute resolution but has argued matters at every level of court in Alberta. She previously chaired the Canadian Bar Association's Family Law Section, has taught interest-based negotiation at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law and through the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education, and has taught mediation with the Legal Education Society of Alberta. She earned her LLB from the University of Alberta in 1999 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and Society and an Honours degree in Sociology from the University of Calgary.
