Binita Jacob is Of Counsel with more than 20 years of experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer, called to the bar in both Ontario and India. Her work spans technology, healthcare and public procurement, and she has advised local and regional management on healthcare legislation, regulations and policy. She has led the drafting, review and negotiation of a wide range of agreements, including equipment purchases, technology and consultancy arrangements, leases, licensing deals and memoranda of understanding. Binita has also served as the primary contact on data privacy issues, including cybersecurity concerns and breach investigations, and has helped manage business risk through oversight of insurance compliance. She previously worked at Clear Finance, McCarthy Tetrault and Siemens Healthineers, and earned her LLB from the University of Ottawa in 2008.
