About Marco

Marco Pontello is an associate practicing corporate law with an emphasis on private equity, private fund formation, and mergers and acquisitions. He has broad experience with private equity fund formation, acting for fund sponsors as well as pension plans and other institutional investors making commitments to private equity funds. In law school, Marco worked as a research assistant studying blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and legal data science, and volunteered as secretary and VP finance of the Business Law Society. He was selected as a Dean's Research and Writing Fellow while studying in Ottawa and received a plaque for highest achievement in management during his undergraduate studies.
