About Ben
Ben Lynskey is a partner at McCullough Watt Sutton Lynskey Hodson & Dosanjh focused on criminal defence, along with quasi-criminal matters such as civil forfeiture proceedings and Mental Health Act reviews. He earned an honours BA in English and history from the University of Toronto, where he played varsity football, and his JD from the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2015. He's been counsel on high-profile murder and white-collar cases, including securing a total stay of proceedings in R v. Darling after nearly a year of litigation, and has had multiple second-degree murder charges reduced to manslaughter. He guest lectures on trial advocacy at the University of Victoria.
