About Barrett

Barrett Schultz is an associate in McLeod Law's Tax group, advising on domestic and international corporate, personal, estate, and succession tax planning, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and estate freezes. He holds a JD from the University of Alberta and a BA with distinction from the University of Calgary, and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2023. His practice also extends to charitable and tax-exempt organizations, including registered charities and non-profits. Barrett is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association's Southern Alberta Tax section, and the Canadian Tax Foundation, and co-chairs the University of Calgary Scholars Academy Alumni Association.
