About F.

Brent Perry focuses on business and personal tax planning, leading projects involving restructuring, split-ups, acquisitions, asset divestitures and financings, and represents clients in tax disputes before the CRA and federal departments. He was appointed King's Counsel in 2000 and progressed from partner in 1989 to joint managing partner of Felesky Flynn in 2002. He has authored papers and taught seminars for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian Bar Association and other groups, and served as a Governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation, receiving its Lifetime Achievement Contribution Award in 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta, graduating with the gold medal for highest academic standing.
