About Bailey

Bailey Harris is a partner at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP focusing on construction litigation and civil and commercial litigation. She acts for owners, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers in construction disputes and project matters such as tendering, procurement, contract drafting, builders' liens, and delay claims, and advises on workplace safety and health issues. She also handles commercial litigation, negligence, personal injury, injunctions, and professional regulatory matters, appearing before courts, arbitrators, labour boards, and human rights tribunals. Harris earned a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours (2003) and a Master of Arts (2008), both from the University of Manitoba, along with her Bachelor of Laws (2008), and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2009. She is a fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America and has taught construction law as sessional faculty at Robson Hall since 2020.
