About Austin
Austin Sutherland joined Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang as a temporary articled student after completing his JD at TRU Law. While in law school, he volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and won TRU's internal Dean's Cup moot competition alongside his partner. Austin holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of British Columbia, where he competed on the varsity track and field and cross-country teams and earned multiple Academic All-Canadian designations. Before law school, he worked at a local health authority where he led public health programs in the Sea to Sky region. His practice interests center on class action litigation, health law, and insurance law.
