About Armina

Armina Birdi is an Associate at Crawford Munroe Thomson LLP practising employment and labour law, human rights, and litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution. Before law school, Birdi spent several years as a labour relations professional, gaining experience in grievance arbitrations, mediations, and workplace investigations that Birdi says shaped a practical, focused approach to workplace law. Birdi earned a BBA in Human Resources Management from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2014, a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen's University in 2016, and a J.D. with Distinction (Class 1) from Bond University in Australia in 2023, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2025. During law school, Birdi competed in the Wilson Moot, earned First in Class in Canadian Administrative Law, and volunteered at a community legal centre assisting vulnerable residents. Birdi belongs to the Canadian Bar Association's BC Branch, the Victoria Bar Association, and the South Asian Bar Association of British Columbia.
