About Aravind

Aravind Pillai practices criminal defence litigation at What The Law. He began his career at a full-service firm, where he worked in business law, litigation, and international corporate law, before discovering his interest in criminal litigation. He now works solely in criminal defence and has handled cases ranging from simple assault and impaired driving to first-degree murder. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School after completing an undergraduate business degree at Western University, and during law school he took part in several moots, including the Oxford Price Media Moot team.
