About Anthony

Anthony Bugo is a partner and criminal defence lawyer who graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School and has practiced for more than twenty years. He handles a wide range of criminal charges across Ontario, with particular experience defending clients accused of sexual offences, drug offences, firearms offences, and other serious violent crimes. Anthony has extensive experience litigating constitutional issues under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, often securing remedies that halt or end prosecutions, and he has argued numerous cases that established new legal precedent. His trial record includes cases involving importing and trafficking charges, search and seizure at the border, and challenges to police cautioning procedures for young persons.
