About Cassandra
Cassandra Laperriere is an associate at Weisberg Law Criminal Lawyers who practices exclusively in criminal defence. She completed both her undergraduate degree, an Honours program in Criminology with a minor in English, and her Juris Doctor at the University of Western Ontario, finishing her law degree in 2020. Before joining the firm she articled and practised for five years at another Toronto criminal defence firm. Cassandra has defended clients against fraud, conspiracy, and sexual assault charges, and served as co-counsel on four murder trials that ended in full acquittals, with her trial work centred on the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice. She belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Criminal Lawyers' Association, and the Toronto Lawyers Association, and assists with the Criminal Lawyers' Association's podcast.
